Rachel: Not sure why it took me so long to figure this out, but we have due dates on copy for Web and Brochure for this client in 10/11 days. This would require us expending a LOT of writing labor before even having an approved Brand. This seems unwise in any circumstance, but with all the stuff that's hitting Copy right now, I think we need to recalculate. At any rate, that's my thinking at present. Let me know what you think. This comment pertains to the Website copy To Do, as well, but I'll let this one stand for both Bro and Web.

Thanks! -- G

Once we get the brand rationale approved we will then set new dates internally :-)

What date is "realistic"? I'd like to get this in front of them (the arted version) in the near future.

Thanks!!

I'm shooting for both the Web copy and the Bro copy for tomorrow or Wednesday. But Jamie has some timeshare on me, as well, for some huge web changes. Can we make the RCCA Web copy due Wednesday  3/9 and the Bro copy due Thursday 3/10? Let me know.

Changing dates.

Hi Greg,

Debbe called and said to use the East Brunswick number on the brochure. I'll get at tacking number for the website. (732) 390-7750.

Thanks,

Acknowledged. ¡Gracias!

Hi Greg!

How are we doing with the brochure copy? Not to be annoying..we have to get this done and approved pretty soon before Lori goes out for her next visit in April. RCCA will need to have it printed and ready to go when she gets there so they can hit the ground running and go out into the field with the brochure.

Thanks,
Rachel

Rachel:

I'm still working on the Home Page copy, after which the Bro copy should go quickly. But the problem isn't how it is going. The problem is that it is NOT going. I get new work tasks every day, some of them hot and drop-what-you're-doing. I have just this morning learned of 2 EEC letters and 1 RCCA letter. These are not difficult projects, but they take time. And they are just an example. With any luck, I won't get an additional Block patient interview to add to the mix. I WILL get Blogs from MIchelle to review, Web Page copy from Jake to review, etc.

The only thing that can hasten production on the Home Page and Bro is to leave me to work on them, which isn't happening today (big meeting). The problem is that the landscape of the workload changes minute-by-minute. The expectations cannot therefore remain unchanged.

Let's rap.

I hear you loud and clear.

Update:  I should be getting to the Bro a bit later today, maybe an hour or two. I'm nearly done with the Web Home copy, and I think it will be about a 3 or 4 hour job. So Bro copy tomorrow. Ideally morning-side.

Really appreciate you keeping me updated!

Too bad it's so easily invalidated! I try, though. :-)

Niki Kaylor completed this to-do.
