Subject: Re: RCCA: Revised Taglines

Hi All,

Most of the taglines provided are using the common words/themes with a tweak. some of them are unique like ones proposed by Mike, Jim and of course EdX1f60a.

If we like to propose a tagline using common words/themes, I like to add word 'personalized' because a lot of patients like that concept that they are unique, their cancer is unique and will be treated as such based on their profile. Here are few suggestions:

1. Expertise. Compassion. Personalized Care.

2. Expertise. Compassion. Dedication. (Kathy's suggestion)

Or if we want to avoid heavy words, something like

3. Making the difference in your lives
4. Fighting the Cancer together

Or on Ed's lines; Leading Cancer Worriers X1f60a

PS: If Dorothy can compile all the new taglines, it may be easier to chose.

I like Cathy's line

Would refine it by changing dedication to DEPENDABILITY

How about:

Compassion, Dedication, Expertise
RCCA: where your life is our work

Hi all:  Of this set of taglines I prefer "Compassion. Dedication. Expertise"  In this order and I am in touch with patients feelings!  Patients expect expertise what they don't always feel is compassion and I know they admire dedication.  - Kathy

This is the second set of tag lines.

Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success
I don't see any actual To Do for me to do. The feedback is in, and I've read it. Is this To Do actually "Change Tagline to Compassion. Dedication. Expertise."? Or what? Please advise.
Rachel Schmidt
Just note all of the feedback so we can discuss with Bruno on the phone.

He seems to really like
Compassion, Dedication, Expertise
RCCA: where your life is our work
Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success
I would LOVE it if we could go with one of these and start moving onward. One note: Those commas will be periods if that first one is the ultimate tagline.

I would love it too.

More feedback from Today:

Just wanted to make sure you knew our company wide tag line:
A commitment to care, a promise of hope
Should we also have a local tag line?

this is the first i have heard of it, and i remember reviewing the website and didn’t see it anywhere.

i like the new taglines better, but alas, this is something the corporate office may put their foot down on.

While unfortunate, we can live with that if necessary, because we can still dictate our copy direction.

To keep perspective, a tagline, while important, is one of hundreds of elements of the marketing campaign.

We should discuss this more fully on the next call,

Rachel, make sure Greg participates with us on that one.

Thanks

First news for me of that corporate tagline. If we have to use it, there's no way I'd advise having an additional CJD tagline. We already have way too many words in their logo; the acronym, the spelled-out version, the CJD part, and the tagline. I'm totally okay with using the corporate tag, particularly because it would allow us to move past the tagline with confidence. Also, we should find out now if Corporate will insist on it. We've wasted enough labor on this. I can't advise expending more for naught. I will of course be in any meeting for this. Leaving at 3pm today and more like 2pm tomorrow (Wednesday).

I think we will be drilling down with Fang on Friday's call. Stewart mentioned that he liked some of ours better so it's just a matter of talking though it with Fang and maybe coming up with some new ideas during the course of the call.

As we discussed here is the CJD original tagline: experience. compassion. excellence.
