Hi Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success Greg

Are you able to write 2 patient testimonials?

1. Barbara and Larry Ammer (Both Patients) - attached

2. Margo (Patient) and Maurice Levy - below

Patient Questionnaire

1.         How did you first hear about RCCA? What specifically had you heard about them?  The surgeon who removed my upper left lobe of my lung mentioned RCAA to me as an exceptional cancer treatment group.  Also a neighbor had been a patient at RCAA.  I also heard that they have many doctors so that in the event your doctor was not available, in an emergency, there would always be another doctor who could step in and take good care of you.

2.         What were your fears? Concerns? Expectations?  I was afraid I was going to be in the numbers of people who did not make it.  I was afraid of letting go of control and having someone else determine and plan treatment for me and be responsible for my life.  I was hopeful that staff at RCAA would see me as an individual and understand my smaller fears and issues, e.g. difficulty with needles, and coddle me just a little.

3.         Why did you decide to have RCCA handle your cancer treatment? What convinced you?  A friend who was in the health industry researched the backgrounds of the doctors at RCCA and other institutions and found that RCCA doctors had very rich educational backgrounds in hospitals that worked in groundbreaking cancer issues.  Then I met with my doctor and we clicked from the first moment.  I knew she would lead me in the right direction if it was at all humanly possible.  I felt great trust in her.

4.         Tell us about your experience at RCCA.  The staff treat patients with the utmost respect and caring.  A visit to RCAA is like going home to family.  From the first nurse who handled my chemotherapy treatments and taught me how to live a healthier life to the nurses who chart my statistics on every visit to the reception staff who who check in with every week, to the lab staff who gently takes my blood every visit and lastly to my wonderful doctor who I see as an angel who saved my life, they are wonderful, competent, careful, always explaining and giving clarity.  Their goodness to all the patients flows into the patients and it makes for a pleasant wait in the reception room because you can always feel positivity there.

5.         What sort of treatment did you receive? How do you feel about the quality of your care? After surgery I received about three months of weekly chemotherapy.  A few months later I started taking preventive chemotherapy oral medication.  My care has been exceptional.  My doctor watches every facet of my health, and treats the whole person, not only cancer issues.  She is patient and will explain things again if my husband I are are not completely understanding.  She also contacts my primary care doctor about issues of mine to ensure they are on the same page, so nothing about my health is overlooked.  Ten years later I am still going in often for visits since I am taking preventive chemotherapy pills.

6.         Would you recommend a friend or loved one to RCCA? If so, why?  Although I hope never to have to recommend RCAA to a friend or loved one, I would of course tell them my experience, if they didn’t know it already and surely insist they go there.

7.         What was the best aspect of your experience at RCCA? Why was it so outstanding? The best aspect has to be the staff.  After all I have said I hope the picture is clear that the care is meant to keep you well and alive and happy, since it is personalized to the patient.  Staff treat patients as individual people and not just as a job to be handled.

8.         How has your life changed since coming to RCCA?  I was a working 69 year young woman with three children and four grandchildren and I thought I would not live to see them grow up.  Now ten years later I am retired am enjoying watching these same children make their way in the world.  All my grandchildren have gone to college and one has just gotten engaged.  How happy and appreciative I am to have lived to see this happen.

9.         What three to five words would you use to describe the doctors and support personnel at RCCA?  Life-saving, outstanding, caring, family

Please advise.
