As I alluded to in my long post yesterday, I'm probably going to be quite constrained. Now that Landrum has had time to think about it, let's get these pinned down first:
  • In order of priority, top 5 services he performs (his bread and butter)
  • In order of priority, top 5 services he'd like attract (for financial and personal reasons)
From there, I need to sit with Garrick, analyze search volume and figure out a conversion-optimized approach. At that point, I'll probably have more questions — or I'll at least want to propose my approach to the client before I write it.

I'm speculating on how this will progress, of course, so let's treat it like as initial plan that's entirely flexible.

okay, when I email him over his homework assignment, I’ll thank him for the inspirational web sites and remind him that what he is getting is a 5-page microsite and lead-generating system, that, probably unlike many of the examples he showed us, is being designed specifically for the purpose of conversions, and that at this point we are not running an educational campaign for him, so copy will be informative, but limited, in order to drive business, grow his practice - and make him money.
