Hi Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success Greg ,

GCHC is adding a popup to all microsites with stats that outline the number of COVID-19 cases at each center.

The plan was to add some copy to the existing COVID-19 banners, that would link to a simple popup containing the stats. Please see the copy they provided below and provide feedback/recommendations. They provided it knowing that we would be tweaking somehow as necessary.

Copy:
Please find our facility’s current COVID-19 testing information. Data reflects current information as of April 23, 2020. A positive test confirms evidence of the virus, but does not confirm the patient is experiencing symptoms. A negative result indicates that a test has been administered and the result was negative for COVID-19. Pending means that a test has been administered but results have not been received prior to this information being published. Recovered means a resident who has tested positive in the past and has since recovered.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I think we need to rethink the plan, here. The current COVID banners on the microsite are of good length. With the new text, they will grow from 34 words to 120 words. That's 350% of current word count, and the banner will be ridiculous, actually untenable.

I suggest we add one quick line of copy that links to a pop-up that contains the copy and single-facility stats.

Here is the copy document for this plan:

Please review, then let's rap if necessary.
