The merger between RCCA and PRO was made official on Jan 1 and RCCA would like a one page flyer regarding the PRO merger for use when visiting referring MD offices. We don't have any specific information that they have requested to include, however we think it should include the following:

Information on the merger and what that means for doctors
Quote from the PRO/RCCA (Dr. Pepek and Dr. Fang)
What they should expect
Why its beneficial for physicians

We are totally open to any and all input on what needs to be included. The due date is flexible.

Here is my first crack at the Flyer for the merger.

A few things...
  • In the absence of quotes from Pepek and Fang, I used quotes from Cardinale and Licitra, which come from those articles Diana posted. Happy to swap them out when we have the new ones.
  • I didn't know which phone number to use. Please provide. 
  • I didn't know which locations to feature. Please provide. 
  • Any other feedback? Let me know.

Here are questions they can use to inform their quote writing. Or they can simply provide us with answers, and I can work up quotes they can approve.

Questions/considerations to inform the writing of a quote regarding the merger:
  • What considerations were motivating factors to merge the two organization?
  • What were the deciding factors?
  • What are the most compelling benefits of the merger for referring physicians? For patients? 
  • How does the merger change or advance the standard of care for cancer in your marketplace(s)?
  • What are the potential concerns that referring physicians and their patients will/may have about this merger? What can be said/shown that will overcome those objections?
  • What are the specific treatment advantages that each organization adds to the other to make a better, stronger new organization?
  • What is the most unexpected thing about the merger?
  • This merger is now. But it is ostensibly going to continue driving change going forward. What might those changes look like?

One more thing: I'm wondering why Cardinale and Licitra were the big dogs quoted in the articles you provided me but Pepek and Fang will be for this purpose. Cardinale and Licitra were attributed in those articles as leaders. Why are we shifting to Pepek and Fang? (Not challenging anybody, here. Just want to understand.) We'll for sure want to include some sort of leadership title for each of the two, just like was done for the other two previously.

Thanks for the questions. So it was confirmed that the two other doctors will indeed be the ones giving a quote. I think that Dr. Pepek and Fang are more of the business people and they may have deemed these other physicians the face of this merger. For consistency purposes Dr. Fang prefers Dr. Cardinale and Dr. Licitra to answer these questions. I'll follow up once we receive responses...... stay tuned

So, unless you see a special need, their quotes are already in place. They actually gave a lot of quotes, so I really see no need for questions/answers. However, I defer to you. — G
