Interview suspended. Rosalie and her husband, Dennis, are private people and were not comfortable being presented publicly. HOWEVER, their story is very compelling: Rosalie had Stage IV pancreatic cancer, the gnarliest one, metastasized. She was given 6 mos. to live. That was in 2013. She's alive and feeling good and happy today, "nearly cancer-free." In the interests of time (which I have perilously little of!), I suspended the interview. HOWEVER, I left the door open to complete the interview if we find that we need to change our plan and feature patients who don't want to include their names/photos. These people weren't really looking for "alternative" care. They got Block's name from an oncologist who was leaving the room after realizing he wasn't going to get their money for big chemo and an extra year of life (in misery).
