Hi Greg,

The needs us to write up a company description that's going in a program flyer for an event program they're participating in.

Attached is an example from another practice.

The only specifics we have are that it needs to be about 213 words, and is going on a full page which is around 5”x 8” (which is more of a design note, I suppose).

Other than that, Diana and I don't have much to share with you.

Can we obtain any further examples, input or direction? This TO DO instructs me to write a description of the business/practice, but the example from TOG Orthopaedics is something more. Everything is in the context of RWJUH, and it seems to be regarding some specific recognition from RWJUH.

It would be very helpful to have a couple more of these sample descriptions as well as some specifics about what the event is and what RCCA-CJD's involvement is. 

  • What is the topic and purpose of this event? 
  • Are they being recognized at the event? If so, for what? If not, what is the reason for this "description's" placement in the program?
  •  Is this a medical-community audience? Or a lay audience? Or both?
  • Is our focus really to "describe the practice" and nothing more? Should we be thanking some organization or mentioning commitment to any particular body or purpose (other than general commitment to excellence, leading-edge care, etc.)?
  • Do the readers of the program NEED a description of who and what RCCA-CJD is? Or do they already know things like "we treat cancer and blood disorders" and "we're part of RCCA"?
Please advise. Really, the one data point (TOG's description) isn't enough for me to establish a pattern to follow with confidence. Any help you can extract from the client would be helpful.

In regards to your questions, this is just a company description, who they are and what they do. it has very little to do with their role in/with the event itself.

We actually have a separate ad that's going in this same booklet.
