Thanks; this is helpful. However, it is, as you say, quite a lot. Also, I've been conducting my own research on Coolief and Neurofeedback, and I'm just now digging into Regenerative Medicine. After that, I'll have to write the three pages, and I won't have them all done tomorrow (3/21). Can we move the copy-due date to 3/23?

Please advise.

I think I have a pretty good handle on Neurofeedback and Coolief. I am, however, more unsure about Regenerative Medicine. I've found good info, but I still have questions.

Should we try to get the client on the phone to get answers to the following questions? Or do you want to send them in writing to get written response? (I favor this option, honestly. It gives them the time/ability to think up and craft more detailed, excellent responses.)

Here are my questions on this topic:
  • Exactly how do you treat chronic pain with regenerative medicine?
  • What are the β€œadvanced regenerative medicine techniques” referenced on the SERVICES page?
  • Are you using stem cells? If so, how? When? For which reasons?
  • Are you using amniotic membrane? If so, how? When? For which reasons?
  • What types of pain can and cannot be helped with regenerative medicine?
  • Does anybody else in your market use regenerative medicine to treat pain? Why or why not? If they do use it, how is yours different?
  • How long have you been treating pain with regenerative medicine techniques?
  • Why would someone NOT want to use regenerative medicine methods? How do we overcome this?
  • Are these methods insurance-covered?

P.S. Please note that I need questions answered before I can write the Regenerative Medicine page. Also, I'm requesting a new due date. I'm only now done with the ample research, am just now starting the writing, and don't have what I need for the Regen Med page. So, won't be done today. Please advise.

Thank you so much for providing this information. I really appreciate the quick turnaround time.

Below and attached is information on Regenerative Medicine

FROM CLIENT:
This link connects to the 20+ clinics that are part of the network that I joined. Their websites ( I know different than a simple landing page ) will include a lot of similar information which should be present on the page that is built.

Thanks

This Regen Med input came in on the same day the copy is due. I also have other work competing for my labor. I've yet to start this page, but it's clear that it won't be done two days ago. Can I please get a new due date that gives me time to complete this and the project in front of it?

Please advise.

Yes absolutely, I pushed this out for Friday. Does that give you enough time? I just want to give the doc at least two days to review the copy before we take these pages live.

That's great, Diana Pinedo, Account Supervisor at Healthcare Success Diana ! Thank you!

Does this work with our WIP goal for the month?

-- G
Michelle Day, πŸ’πŸΌ at Healthcare Success
This isn't on the WIP goal spreadsheet. Niki Kaylor, Director of Client Services at Healthcare Success Niki  - this isn't a WIP goal, correct?
Niki Kaylor, Director of Client Services at Healthcare Success
Diana Pinedo, Account Supervisor at Healthcare Success Diana  was there an addendum for this? If the client is paying for it, it's on WIP, if it is added value, it is not on WIP.
Diana Pinedo, Account Supervisor at Healthcare Success
Niki Kaylor, Director of Client Services at Healthcare Success Niki Michelle Day, πŸ’πŸΌ at Healthcare Success Michelle

This is not a WIP goal, I mean its a reallocation of current budget. That $3,500 he was using for retainer was or is being used for these three webpages. There was an addendum but not for a new budget just a reallocation of budget. Does that account for WIP when budget shifts not any new money?
Niki Kaylor, Director of Client Services at Healthcare Success
I just checked and yes, it's on the WIP. Will we complete this?
Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success
Copy for 2 of the 3 is written. I'll be writing the 3rd page tomorrow. I assume the goal is Copy Only. If I'm right, we'll make it.

I screwed up on this one. Yesterday, Michelle moved a deadline from today to April 4 in order to open me up for other work. I erroneously thought it was this project, and I only just now realized my mistake. So, I have not yet started writing the Regenerative Medicine page, and it therefore isn't going to make WIP goal. SO sorry for this. Sheepish as heck, in fact. Ugh.

Coolief and Neurofeedback pages are written and attached to posts earlier in this thread. I will try to work on Regen Med, but time is evaporating and I've got a lot to work on.

Again, very sorry for this. If you'd asked, I'd have said I had it all correct. And I'd have been wrong.

That's ok!

We can still send the other two to the client for review and send the other one early next week.

As long as we have SOMETHING to send =)
Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success
Whew!

Have you reviewed the other two pages and sent them to proofing?

-_ G
Leslie Hines, Healthcare Success
I reveiwed them quickly, but not in depth. Mike said he could proof them by tomorrow, but asked for a WO, which I don't have.
Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success
Then let's proof them internally. I can't proof my own copy. (In truth, I always do, but someone else also needs to.)

-- G
Diana Pinedo, Account Supervisor at Healthcare Success
Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success Greg

Don't worry at all about this WIP goal as this came in pretty late anyways and wasn't a part of WIP initially. I don't want to send two pages for proofing and then the third later. I will send Mike all three pages for proofing once completed. What is the new deadline that you think is feasible for you?

Thanks!
Greg Ashbaugh, Sr. Copywriter at Healthcare Success
Monday, but maybe give me 'til Tuesday. A few other things got pushed out into early next week, as well, for various reasons. So, I think Monday, but I worry about being wrong. :-)

We got feedback from Dr. Landrum. He wasn't thrilled with the copy. Please see his comments below. Can you please work on revising these?

A simple synopsis for both pages, which is critical for the patient/client to understand.

  1.  Coolief copy : to treat Knee and Hip pain ( either  after joint replacement or before )  95% of cases are joint treatments NOT spine
  2. Neurofeedback copy:  in my practice is not treating chronic pain. Treating associate issues of Depression, Anxiety, and Insomnia.

These are key points that can't be changed, altered or not prioritized.

Thanks,
Diana

Diana Pinedo, Account Supervisor at Healthcare Success Diana :

Okay. Would have been nice to know these facts ahead of time.

For COOLIEF, the client provided no input, so I was left to rely on the research...
  • On COOLIEF's own info-about-procedure page (https://www.mycoolief.com/information-about-procedure.aspx), it says very specifically that "COOLIEF Cooled RF is a noninvasive, outpatient treatment option for those suffering from chronic back pain." No other type of pain is mentioned.
  • It also says "Studies have been shown to provide chronic back pain patients with up to 24 months of pain relief...." and mentions no outcomes data for other types of pain.
  • Under What Should I Expect, the makers of COOLIEF also say "will access and heat your spinal tissue to block pain...". No other anatomy is mentioned.
From all that, there was no way for us to anticipate that Landrum is using COOLIEF for anything but spine. Knee pain is mentioned on the Info About Procedures page, but that is followed by no supporting text. And all that is mentioned in the supporting text is spine.

For the Neurofeedback topic, I was working under the very reasonable expectation that the client treated pain and not psychiatric/psychological disorders associated with it. I've just looked again at the page, and it may be a wholesale redo now that we have information we should have had before the first attempt.

I think, going forward, we should probably not begin writing until we've had a chance to micro-interview clients on specific topics like this. I spent valuable labor time on these only to find out it's a garbage-in/garbage-out situation. This is likely to happen with the Regen Med topic, too, especially considering that I created questions (earlier in this thread) that have not yet been answered. Can we please get those answered before I take another step on Regen Med (which I've been working on this morning)?

Also, if he is not "thrilled" his feedback seems a little sparse. Is fixing these issues really going to make him thrilled? I'm generally concerned that he is disappointed in the fact that we did not read his mind. I'm terrible at mind reading, it should be mentioned.

Please advise, generally and to every question posed in this post.

Thanks, Diana!

Diana Pinedo, Account Supervisor at Healthcare Success Diana :

Here again are my specific questions regarding Regenerative Medicine. As mentioned above, I think we should stop the presses and collect the client-specific information before expending writing labor. Thinking "measure twice, cut once" on this one.

Some of the questions have been answered by research and prior client input, and those have been deleted. Also, I've added new questions based on the research I've been doing. Here is the full spate of Regen Med questions I have (so far):

  • Exactly how do you treat chronic pain with regenerative medicine? Please be as specific as possible.
  • Does anybody else in your market use regenerative medicine to treat pain? Why or why not? If they do use it, how is yours different? Also, are they using Regenexx?
  • How long have you been treating pain with regenerative medicine techniques? How has it changed how you practice?
  • Do you have any patient testimonials specific to regenerative medicine treatments?
  • Do you follow ONLY the Regenexx proprietary methods? All of them? Or just some? Do you do anything more or less or differently in the context of the Regenexx proprietary techniques?
  • Why would a patient NOT want to use regenerative medicine methods? How do we overcome this?
  • Are all (or most) patients good candidates for Regen Med treatment? Why might someone not be a good candidate?
  • Are these methods insurance-covered?
Okay. There you have it. Please advise.

Thanks. But can we first meet to figure all this out? Also, can we split these into 3 discrete TO DO tasks? I wouldn't dream of recommending this normally, but I think it's going to be necessary for these three pages, in large part for the purpose of keeping feedback, information, revisions clear and separate. Already kind of struggling with that on this'n.

Let me know when we can have quick pow-wow.

Just peeked around in those DB folders. Lots of input, which amounts to labor time. Do I have a labor maximum on this? Also, due dates will need to take this additional labor into account along with my competing priorities.

I think before you dig into anything further let's try to jump on a call with Dr. Landrum let's get all of his feedback and your questions answered before we proceed with any additional work. I asked him for time tomorrow morning so hoping we can jump on a call.
